Accreditation

Veritas Summit College is accredited by some of the world’s largest non-governmental accrediting organizations:

  • Accrediting Commission International (A.C.I.)
  • National Private Schools Association Group, Inc. (NPSAG)
  • American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions, Inc. (AAATI)

The purpose of accreditation is to:

  • Certify that an institution has met the established standards of excellence;
  • Assist prospective students in identifying reputable institutions which offer degree programs that will meet their needs and goals; and to
  • Allow institutions to evaluate the acceptability of transfer credits into their own programs.

The accreditation agencies for VSC are non-secular, private accrediting associations, which accredits post-secondary institutions.  Therefore, VSC does not qualify for any Federal or State loans or grant programs.  In accordance with Code Section 20-3-250.3, an institution that has religious affiliation may apply for an exemption, on religious grounds, from the provisions of the Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Act.
